Martin Luther King Jr. was born on January 15, 1929 and died April 4, 1968. This man had accomplished so much for example he is how the black people became free, he was the man who had his house blown up by white people. Martin Luther King Jr. was famous because he was the leader of the Civil Rights Movement. Martin wasn’t only in the Civil Rights Movement but was a political activist, a Baptist minister, and was one of America’s greatest orators. Martin won awards such as the Noble peace prize in 1964. On April 4, 1968 Martin was assassinated and never forgotten. To prove that he was never forgotten, he got an award in 1977 called The Presidential Freedom.
